Our team of Healthcare Heroes attend The Big Bang fair

General News

The Big Bang Fair is an award-winning combination of exciting theatre shows, interactive workshops and exhibits and careers information from STEM professionals.

This June our Team of Healthcare Heroes attended The Big Bang Fair that saw over 8,000 young people attending the one-day event from various schools across the South East of England. Attendees were able to take full advantage of the many workshops, show and talks aimed to bring awareness to careers in STEM.

Kings Health Partners were ready at hand to advice young people about the various opportunities and career pathways available through our programmes.

Amongst our team of Healthcare Heroes were Midwives, a Widening Participation Officer from Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS foundation Trust, the Widening Participation Lead from King's Health Partners and Student Ambassadors from King's College London. With the help of the team we were able to promote the exciting range of opportunities that the King's Partners offers.

Visitors to the King's Health Partners' stand also had the chance to speak to professionals who had also volunteered their time to help out at the event. On display at the King's Health Partners stand were a child birthing model, restorative breathing apparatus, information about the new Discoverhealthcare website, Resus Annie dummies and an array of career guidance information.
