Science Gallery London

Science Gallery London joins art, science and health to lead improvement in the heart of the city. It brings together scientific researchers, students, local communities and artists in new and different ways. Their programme has many different themed seasons every year, combining exhibitions, events, performances, live experiments, open discussions and festivals all centering around science.

What is The Young Leaders Programme?

A lot of the most influential work is made by people who are less present in the mainstream. By ensuring we represent the thoughts and opinions of our audiences, we have a group of 15-25 year olds who live, work or study in Lambeth and Southwark coming to join our Young Leaders Programme. They will be the ones that will help form the Gallery and guide its work through organisation, consultation and thinking outside the box. This group of young people will be representing the amazing talent and diversity of London and will be passionate about bringing new voices to the forefront.

The Young Leaders will create a weekend festival for Science Gallery London and help design and organise future programming. As part of their programme they will be able to develop, transfer and learn new skills and improve their professional networks, receive 1:1 mentoring and gain training on skills such as organising, marketing, leadership and public speaking.
