It is Positive Mental Health Week where we support young people with their wellbeing
During adolescence is when young people can be under a lot of stress a pressure due to school, peer pressure or just general stress from other areas.
Young people need for independence is partly due to changes in the brain whilst it is still developing, this can make reading or understanding others more difficult than when they were younger.
A roller-coaster of different emotions at their adolescent stage is completely normal and we all go through it!
Having strong relationships whether it is family or friendship is important for good mental health for a young person
Talking can be a great way to help young people manage their feelings and their well being when they are going through a stressful time and it can help them manage difficult experiences.
