Clinical Imaging Meet The Experts sessions at Guy's and St. Thomas's Foundation Trust

Following recent government  guidelines the Hospital is putting in place social distancing measures which will in turn limit the number of candidates we can host at the hospital in the near future.

At Guy's and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust we were keen to continue offering candidates the careers conversations access to our professionals something virtually to our local young people summer holidays.
 In partnership with the Medical Physics we were able to organise some Meet The Experts sessions where students from local schools and colleges will have the opportunity to virtually meet the various clinical imaging professionals and ask them questions about their role and experiences in providing care to patients.
In attendance we had colleagues from ;

- MRI/Ultrasound
- Nuclear Medicine
- Radiation Safety
- Radiotherapy
- Medical Engineering

The experts were able to talk about what they found most interesting about their job, what skills they have developed over the years and what qualifications and entry routes they took to get to their current position. Attendees were able to ask the clinical imaging Experts about what inspired them to become take up their role. The attendees felt that the session gave them very useful insights into  the role the world of Clinical Imaging.
